米国株式市場関係者にとって、今年は望外の良い年となりました。

The S&P 500 has gained 28.6% for the year to date through Monday’s close. Assuming these gains hold through the closing bell on December 31, it would mark the best rate of return since 2013, when the S&P 500 rose 29.6%, excluding dividends.

まだ今年の取引きが終わったわけではありませんが、2019年の年間S&P500の上昇率は、

2013年の29.6%上げ以来、最高の28.6%を記録しそうです。

The Information Tech sector has outperformed this year, gaining 47.19% thus far and putting it on track for its best year since 2009 when gains totaled 59.92%.

特にインフォテックセクターは、、2009年以降では最高の上昇。47%以上の上昇です。

景気が良くて何よりでした。

来年は米国株はどうなのか？

With 2019 coming to a close, Wall Street has begun to turn its attention to to 2020. Based on an analysis of 23 equity strategists, the most bullish firm believes the S&P 500 will rise 11.7% from Monday’s close through the end of 2020 to reach 3,600. A couple of the most bearish strategists, on the other hand, see the index closing at 3,000, or 6.9% lower.

アナリストのみなさんによると、

最も強気な予想でもS&P500は11%強の上昇で3600。

弱気の方々は7%弱の下落！を予想。

3000に逆戻りするということのようです。

まあ所詮、どのアナリストもポジショントーク。
